How Our Handcrafted Log Homes are Built

Our practice of pre-building the entire log shell on our site ensures every piece fits perfectly. Our completed Log Shell Package features a great variety of careful detailing and structural components to ensure a sound and beautiful home.


Our house logs, of a variety of wood species, are selected from the highest quality timber available and hand peeled.	For our full scribe log homes, we hand-cut lateral grooves for the wall logs using a highly advanced method called Over-scribing.	Interlocking corner notches, where log walls intersect, are crucial to how the finished log home will look and perform.

Delivery and Assembly On Your Site

When the structure is complete, we tag each log before dismantling and loading onto trailers or containers ready for transportation. After your contractor completes the foundation and main floor system on your site, your log package will arrive, accompanied by at least one Log Connection specialist who will advise and assist in the re-assembly.

Our log packages are meticulously prepared and require no additional drilling, notching or cutting once delivered. This is not an extra cost, it’s our commitment to quality: every home we build is meticulously detailed and complete.
